Getting an update on your PF balance or claim is generally a process that involves logging into a particular website, or accessing a proper EPFO portal and then using your login credentials. Now, in order to make things more convenient for EPFO members, a new way of accessing updates has been made available via WhatsApp. As per the information provided by the EPFO, members now have an option to contact the official WhatsApp channel of EPFO and then use the guided menu in order to get relevant information. However, it must be noted that members must keep in mind the following point: only contact the official channel of EPFO and never share your UAN, Aadhaar, PAN, banking info or OTP with any unknown number.
