Europe could face a shortage of rockets to launch its satellites by the end of the decade as demand for access to space rises sharply, the head of the European Space Agency has warned.

Europe’s expanding satellite ambitions are putting pressure on the continent to boost its launch capacity and reduce its reliance on foreign providers.
