TransPennine Express is warning customers travelling to Eurovision to expect major disruption.

Due to planned RMT and ASLEF strike action, there will be timetable changes next week on Friday, May 12 and Saturday, May 13. It will cause havoc for all customers on the network, however, it will be particularly impactful for people attempting to reach the Eurovision Song Contest.

On Friday May 12, when ASLEF members plan to take action, there will be no TPE services at all. Meanwhile, on Saturday May 13– the day of the Eurovision Grand Final – planned RMT strike actions means there will be a significantly reduced TPE service.
