The Eurovision Broadcasting Union (EBU) addressed concerns raised over their newly implemented voting system.
The Liverpool show will see a drastic change in the voting as the semi-finals are scrapping the jury input entirely. The new system will mean the decision is entirely in the public's hands solely and they will decide who will go on to the final.
Non-competing countries will also be able to have their say with their votes set to be tallied together as one, meaning an extra set of "douze pois" will be up for grabs.
