Former All Blacks assistant coach Scott Hansen will replace Rob Penney as Canterbury Crusaders boss ‌from the 2027 Super Rugby Pacific season.

Penney, who took over after Scott Robertson left to ‌coach the All Blacks in 2023, will step down at the end of the current campaign after three seasons in charge, the New Zealand team ‌confirmed on Wednesday.
