Jacob Farrell is returning to the A-League Men for the rest of the season in possibly a last-ditch move to help his chances of being selected in Australia's World Cup squad.

The 23-year-old defender who played for Central Coast between 2021-2024, and was part of their grand final-winning team in 2023 and 2024 AFC Cup triumph, has joined Western Sydney for the remainder of their campaign.
