July NY world sugar #11 (SBN25) today is down -0.18 (-1.02%), and August London ICE white sugar #5 (SWQ25) is down -3.50 (-0.71%).

Sugar prices today tumbled to 1-week lows on expectations for a global sugar surplus. On Wednesday, consultant Datagro projected a 2025/26 global sugar surplus of +1.53 MMT, recovering sharply from a 2024/25 global sugar deficit of -4.67 MMT. Meanwhile, StoneX projects a 2025/26 global sugar surplus of +3.74 MMT.
