How Your Prescription Changes What the Eye Sees
Before anything else, know which way your lenses work against you. Plus lenses, for farsightedness, magnify the eye. Every liner stroke is bigger behind the glass than it looks in the mirror. A thick kohl line becomes a smeared band. A heavy concealer crease becomes a canyon. Minus lenses, for nearsightedness, do the opposite: they shrink. The smoky eye you built in three layers reads as a faint shadow by the time it travels through the lens to the person across from you.
