MYSTERIOUS: Faa chief mike whitaker to step down next month - What They Never Told You

FAA Administrator Whitaker testifies at a hearing following the January 5 emergency Boeing landing accident, on Capitol Hill

The head of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has announced his impending resignation, signaling a change in leadership at the agency. Mike Whitaker, who has been at the helm of the FAA, will step down next month to allow President-elect Donald Trump to appoint a new leader.

Whitaker's decision to resign comes after a period of increased scrutiny on Boeing, following an incident where a panel blew off a Boeing jet in January. Under Whitaker's leadership, the FAA has implemented a tougher enforcement policy towards Boeing.
