One popular Gogglebox cast member has been flooded with support after being subject to homophobic abuse. Stephen Webb, who appears on the Channel 4 show with his husband Daniel Lustig-Webb, posted on Instagram about the homophobic abuse he and Daniel faced in Brighton.

Posting a picture of the LBGTQ+ flag Daniel explained what happened. He said: "Last night Daniel and I were called "f**king f***ots" this was on Hove sea front! The fight continues! Be aware be safe! #gay #pride #homophobiastillexists".

The post has received over 1,900 comments with many fans giving the couple support. One said: "So sorry and angered to hear this. Why do people even care what someone else's sexuality is ffs #saddos WELL WE ALL LOVE YAS" followed by love heart emojis.
