WASHINGTON, D.C.—Federal Communications Commission Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel has announced that the agency officially ended the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) on June 1, 2024 after Congress failed to provide additional funding.
Prior to the program’s closure, the agency had already imposed an enrollment freeze in early February and had been working to wind-down the program if Congress failed to provide additional funding.
