A high school classmate of New Orleans terror attack suspect Shamsud-Din Jabbar recently shared insights into Jabbar's personal journey towards radicalization. The classmate, identified as Chris Pousson, revealed that he reconnected with Jabbar through Facebook a few years ago. According to Pousson, Jabbar had become deeply immersed in his Muslim faith, with most of their conversations revolving around religious topics.
Pousson emphasized that despite Jabbar's increasing focus on his faith, their interactions remained respectful and positive. He described Jabbar as a courteous individual who consistently maintained a respectful demeanor during their discussions. Pousson expressed shock and disbelief at the news of Jabbar's involvement in the recent terror attack, stating that the revelation came as a complete surprise.
