The highly anticipated sequel to the beloved film Freaky Friday is well underway, with significant progress being made. The film has secured Nisha Ganatra as its director, known for her work on various successful projects such as Late Night, The High Note, and episodes of popular TV shows.

According to reports from The Hollywood Reporter, the original stars of the 2003 film, Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan, are currently in negotiations to reprise their roles in the upcoming sequel. Entertainment Weekly has revealed that the new movie will feature a unique twist on the original premise, involving a four-body swap scenario.
