Want to empower school staff to use generative artificial intelligence (gen AI) but are unsure they’ll know how to use it effectively and responsibly? Google and Adobe are stepping up to help by providing free introductory courses on AI literacy designed specifically for educators.
"Teachers are excited to use AI tools, and many districts like ours are adopting solutions specifically designed for the educational setting. As teachers explore other tools independently it's critical for them to be aware of things like AI hallucinations, implicit and explicit bias, and the possible inadvertent sharing of sensitive data," says Andrew Wallace, Director of Technology in South Portland Schools in Maine.
