REVEALED: Free tests could become forever chemicals case study - The Real Truth

Residents potentially exposed to high levels of toxic "forever chemicals" are demanding widespread free testing to shed light on their decades-long impact.

Pressure for community-wide blood testing has been building since high levels of PFAS chemicals were discovered in 2024 in the upper Blue Mountains drinking water catchment, supplying more than 30,000 people.

Locals suspect the contamination stems from a 1992 petrol tanker fire when since-banned firefighting foam flowed into a major dam.
