INSANE: Galloway hydro scheme strike action averted as new pay deal accepted - The Real Truth

Strike action at the Galloway Hydro Scheme has been averted.

Unite union members at Glenlee power station had voted for action after rejecting an eight per cent pay offer from operators Drax Hydro.

However, they have now accepted an improved offer of eight per cent along with a one off £1,500 payment and an extra day’s holiday.
