Inverness-based investment group GEG Capital has acquired a majority stake in Grangemouth-based multi-disciplinary consultancy firm IKM Consulting.

The deal for the engineering, environmental and surveying consultancy is aimed at bolstering GEG's engineering and environmental capabilities, supporting its role in the UK's energy transition.

GEG Capital director Jia MacKenzie commented: “We are delighted to bring IKM under the GEG Capital umbrella and look forward to embarking on the next stage of its growth journey together.
