BIZARRE: Glasgow flight circles lanarkshire towns having issued emergency code before it could land - You Need To See This

A Glasgow-bound flight was seen circling the air around several Lanarkshire towns, having issued an emergency code before it could land.

British Airways flight BA1496 left London’s Heathrow Airport at 9.56pm and issued a Squawk 7700 just over an hour into the 85-minute journey.

A Squawk 7700 code is used to communicate on-flight emergencies and, depending on the nature and severity of the situation, crews may conduct checks before formally declaring an emergency.
