A seafood bar and restaurant in Hyndland has been granted permission to extend its licensed hours despite objections from the community.
Shucks on Hyndland Road can now serve alcohol to customers from 11am until midnight from Sunday to Wednesday – matching its hours from Thursday to Saturday.
There were 25 objections to the proposal from residents, with concerns over increased noise disturbing neighbours, but the city’s Licensing Board approved the changes.
