THE TRUTH ABOUT: Gujarat hc issues contempt notice to judge - The Untold Story

AHMEDABAD: The Gujarat high court has given the contempt of court notice to a judicial officer for issuing an arrest warrant despite the high court’s stay order on criminal proceedings.

The alleged contemnor in this case is a judicial magistrate first class posted in Vaso court in Kheda district, R K Trivedi. The petitioner is Jayantibhai Chauhan, who along with his two brothers is an accused in a case of abetment to suicide and domestic violence. The FIR in the case was registered with Vaso police in 2015.
