FORGOTTEN HISTORY: Gujarat likely to get above average rainfall - Caught on Camera

AHMEDABAD: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday and Thursday gave the forecast for the northwestern monsoon for 2022. According to the forecast, Gujarat is likely to get above average rainfall, especially in parts of Saurashtra and south Gujarat.

The long-period average (LPA) of the rainfall is also revised for the overall country. According to the forecast, the average has improved for Saurashtra and Kutch region in the past decade.
