A video taken from inside Apalachee High School on Wednesday shows a gun lying on the floor. The weapon was visible as students were evacuating the school premises. This incident occurred in the aftermath of a shooting in Winder, Georgia, where four individuals lost their lives and nine others sustained injuries.
Additional footage from the scene captures police officers guiding students out of a classroom, with one officer directing them to walk in a single-file formation. The presence of the firearm in the school environment during the evacuation highlights the gravity of the situation and the need for heightened security measures in educational institutions.
