KOLKATA: Gurpreet Singh Sandhu and Liston Colaco represent the old and the new face of Indian national football team as Igor Stimac’s side gets battle-ready for the Asian Cup’s third and final-round qualifiers, starting here on Wednesday.
While Gurpreet has been the team’s first-choice goalkeeper, Colaco is fact establishing himself as a vital cog in the wheel on the back of a string of game-impacting performances of late. But they are united by one common dream --- seeing India make the cut in next year’s Asian Cup.
