Welsh international Tom Lawrence has produced a memorable hat-trick as Perth Glory put aside years of torment to beat Melbourne City 3-1 in an A-League Men boilover at AAMI Park.

With members of the Barmy Army in full voice and joining Glory fans in the away bay following the early end to the Boxing Day Test, Lawrence scored in the 10th and 22nd minutes in a barnstorming start to Sunday's match.
