NBCUniversal’s streaming service Peacock Premium saw exponential growth over the past two years, as it hit 34 million subscribers in early 2024, largely thanks to its extensive coverage of live sports. It's only gotten larger from there, as it's the home of several blockbuster shows and movies that viewers continue to flock to.
Of course, it's important to note that the streaming home of original series like "Love Island" and "Poker Face" just got yet another price hike as of August 2026 as well. The former $5.99 ad-supported tier is now $8.99 for new customers, for example. Going without ads completely will set you back $19.99 per month.
