Chances are you will need some form of long-term care (LTC) during your lifetime. This is largely because we are living longer. In fact, JP Morgan reports that if you are 65 and a non-smoker, your chances of living to age 85 are high: 78% for women and 64% for men. Since we are all living longer these days, planning for potential care needs now is crucial.
This is especially true when you consider that someone turning 65 today has about a 70% chance of needing some type of long-term care services and support in their remaining years, according to the Administration for Community Living.
