Crimson Desert, like many other similar games, features a skill system where you acquire "levels" and spend points to unlock new abilities and improve old ones.
While it doesn't have a numbered leveling system with XP and such, Crimson Desert uses Abyss Artifacts, expendable items that are exchanged for new skills and upgrades. Of course, sometimes you'll come to realize that you may have spent your hard-earned Artifacts on a skill or upgrade that you no longer need and would want to get some of what you used back.
