With Channel 5’s new TV film, Power, coming out tonight, Huw Edwards is back in the spotlight once more.

The disgraced newsreader was once the face of the BBC’s prestigious News At Ten, earning almost half a million pounds a year, but that all fell apart in 2023 when The Sun published a story alleging that an unnamed BBC presenter had paid a 17-year-old boy £35,000 for explicit photos.
