NEW DELHI: Union minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Thursday announced India’s ambitions to host the 2036 Olympics and aimed to secure a spot in the top 10 of the medal tally.

Speaking at the 'Viksit Bharat Ambassador - Yuva Connect' event at SP College in Pune, the Union Sports and Youth Affairs Minister emphasized the goal to place India among the top five sports nations by 2047.
