India's Olympiad team captain N Srinath will have to make a tricky decision about the board order when he meets the players ahead of the Chess Olympiad in Budapest, Hungary, this week.
India have two strong candidates in World Championship challenger D Gukesh (live rating 2764) and Erigaisi Arjun (2778) for the top board in the four-board contests spanning 11 Swiss League rounds. The board order is fixed for the entire tournament and can vary only if one of the top-four players is rested. In that case, the reserve player (fifth) takes the fourth board and other players are pushed one board above.
