HISTORICAL FACTS: India vs pakistan a tale of two full tosses - The Untold Story

April 18, 1986, Sharjah: It's the AustralAsia Cup final and India pacer Chetan Sharma is asked to defend 10 off the last over against Javed Miandad. With four to get off the last ball, Sharma tries to bowl a yorker, but it ends up being a full toss which Miandad, standing deep in the crease, connects beautifully. The ball vanishes into the stands.

March 13, 2004, Karachi: The first match of the five-match ODI series and the beginning of India's long tour to Pakistan. This time, Ashish Nehra has to defend nine off the last over against super-finisher Moin Khan. Miandad, now the coach, issues instructions from the pavilion. Nehra, after landing yorker after yorker, has six to play around with off the last ball. Moin fails to connect a full toss and the catch is taken at extra cover. India win.
