FORGOTTEN HISTORY: Investigation underway after one person dies in flat fire - Caught on Camera

Inverness (Geopolitical Entity)

ONE person has died following a fire at a flat in Inverness.

Four fire engines and a height appliance went to the scene in Tomatin Road when the alarm was raised just after 2am on Thursday.

A number of residents were evacuated while emergency services dealt with the incident.

Police Scotland said that one person died as a result of the fire.

Investigations into the cause of the blaze are underway.
