Welsh actor Ioan Gruffudd has been granted a three-year restraining order against his Alice Evans, following their split in March last year. The order comes after the Cardiff -born actor, 48, had previously won a temporary restraining order against his 54-year-old former spouse in February after he claimed to have been inundated with messages from her.
The order, granted yesterday (Tuesday, August 2) at a hearing at the Superior Court of California's Family Division, will expire on August 2 2025 and states Alice (with whom Ioan shares two children - Ella, 12, and eight-year-old Elise) must be "personally 'served' a copy of the order." The document also revealed that Ioan, who is most recently known for his role in ITV drama Liar, was present at the hearing alongside his two attorneys.
