It’s been some 18 months since we finally got a redesigned iPad, bringing in a tablet that resembles a shrunken-down iPad Air. While that design is far from old, Apple’s in-house chips have moved on, and one could argue it’s time for the iPad mini to get a specs boost.
Far from official, there are still plenty of rumors circulating about the iPad mini 7, with it expected to arrive sometime in 2024; it’s looking like Apple won’t put a lot of weight behind its iPads this year.
