Iran has said ​that two French embassy employees who were briefly detained last month following a ​diplomatic dispute will not be allowed to return to Iran.

"The two people involved have left Iran. We have also officially announced that they will not be allowed to return," Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaïl Baghaï said on Monday during his weekly news conference in Tehran.
