Israeli forces have successfully eliminated two Palestinian militants who were responsible for a deadly attack on a bus in the West Bank earlier this month. The Israeli military confirmed that the two men, identified as Mohammed Nazzal and Katiba al-Shalabi, were operatives with the Islamic Jihad militant group. The militants barricaded themselves in a structure in the West Bank village of Burqin and engaged in a firefight with Israeli troops before being killed overnight. During the operation, an Israeli soldier sustained moderate injuries.
