Jamie Lee Curtis is preparing to retire from acting, citing her parents' experience of being rejected by Hollywood due to age.
She stated that she witnessed her parents, Janet Leigh and Tony Curtis, lose their fame and livelihood as the industry eroded their careers.
Curtis expressed her desire to "leave the party before I’m no longer invited" to avoid suffering the same fate as her family.
She controversially likened the cosmeceutical industry's "disfiguration" of women to "genocide," arguing it has wiped out natural human appearance.
Curtis is set to star in 'Freakier Friday', a sequel to 'Freaky Friday', which is scheduled for release on 8 August.
