  • Sinner was aiming to complete the ‘Sunshine Double’ after winning at Indian Wells earlier this month.
  • Sunday’s final was disrupted by rain but Sinner was able to maintain his composure to pick up a 6-4, 6-4 victory.
  • In doing so, he became the first man in history to win the ‘Sunshine Double’ without dropping a set.
  • Sinner admitted it had been an “incredible” few weeks for him after he lost in the Australian Open semi-finals and the Qatar Open quarter-finals earlier in the season.
