Buffalo Bills star Josh Allen is no stranger to pulling off spectacular plays, but the quarterback’s greatness still has a tendency to stop people in amazement.
Case in point, on Sunday Night Football, when Allen connected with receiver Trent Sherfield for an improbable touchdown against the Dolphins that turned Miami coach Mike McDaniel into a meme for the ages.
With Buffalo on second-and-goal down 7–0, Allen fired a rocket of a pass off a Dolphins defensive lineman’s helmet, which hung in the air and fell into Sherfield’s waiting arms. To make the surreal play that much better, the wideout showed off a picture-perfect toe drag to stay inbounds, a sequence that stunned viewers and left McDaniel with a hilariously blank stare on his face in disbelief.
