JAIPUR: As India sends its largest contingent of seven shuttlers to the 2024 Paris Olympics, the situation at the junior level is less promising. The Badminton Association of India (BAI) and the Sports Authority of India (SAI) face criticism for not utilising the full quota of entries for the upcoming Asian Sub-Junior Under-15 and Under-17 Badminton Championships, scheduled in Chengdu, China, from Aug 20 to 25.
Some players and their parents have criticised the BAI for not adhering to the organisers' guidelines for sending entries.
