Iranian state TV aired a statement they claimed was from Iran’s new supreme leader, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, Thursday amid conflicting reports about his condition after he was injured at the start of the war.

Khamenei did not appear on camera and the speech was read by a news anchor.
