Ministers and their staff should be forced to cut up their Construction, Forestry and Maritime Employees Union (CFMEU) cards in the wake of a corruption report that forced the resignation of the deputy chief minister, the ACT opposition says.
The Canberra Liberals renewed their calls on Friday for Labor minister Michael Pettersson to cancel his declared CFMEU membership and for all ministerial staffers who are members of the troubled union to do the same.
