Indy100
Did Late Night with the Devil really make $666,666 at the box office?

Found footage horror film Late Night with the Devil had a successful opening weekend at the box office, earning $2.8 million overall. However, what caught the attention of many was its Sunday earnings of $666,666, leading to speculation of a marketing stunt. Despite ranking 6th at the box office, online sources do not reflect this unique figure.

The film presents as a documentary using found footage from a fictional 1970s talk show, Night Owl with Jack Delroy, featuring an occult-themed Halloween episode. This release marked the distributor IFC Films' biggest opening weekend.
