Entertainment platform TrueID has appointed Lalisa "Lisa" Manobal, the well-known Thai rapper, singer and dancer in the Korean girl group Blackpink, as TrueID's latest brand ambassador.
A "What's Lisa TrueID" event was recently held at Iconsiam's True Icon Hall, creating a social media phenomenon as #WhatsLISAsTrueID became the top trend on Twitter in Thailand and the 25th most popular globally, as Blackpink fans -- known as "blinks and lillies" -- took to social media to follow the event.
A highlight of the event was an interview with the singer, giving fans a glimpse of her personality.
The event also featured a lucky draw overseen by Bernd Sven Vindevogel, chief operating officer of True Digital Group, who selected 40 lucky winners to receive a an autograph from Lisa in person.
At the event, lillies and TrueID fans presented Lisa with a video as a token of their appreciation.
