Jurgen Klopp has been keen for Liverpool to correct three major issues for the Reds ahead of their return to Premier League action, according to defender Andrew Robertson.
The Merseyside outfit endured a tricky start to the 2022/23 campaign ahead of the enforced break for the World Cup. They have been hard at work during a mid-season trip to Dubai with German schemer Klopp keen on working on a few specific tactical elements.
Having been a key part of the side over the vast majority of Klopp’s time at Anfield, Robertson has opened up on exactly what they have been attempting to improve during the Middle East. Robertson told the Liverpool Echo : "We've been working a lot on pressing, counter-pressing and choosing our moments because in games we've not done that enough at times and in some games, we've sort of half-pressed.
