Plans to introduce driverless taxis on London's streets have been dealt a fresh blow after a report warned the capital is not ready for the technology.

The London Assembly's transport committee has urged Transport for London (TfL) to withhold approval for a full rollout of so-called ‘robotaxis’ until stronger safety measures are in place.
