According to Benzinga Pro data CenterPoint Energy (NYSE:CNP) posted a 37.97% decrease in earnings from Q4. Sales, however, increased by 19.4% over the previous quarter to $2.76 billion. Despite the increase in sales this quarter, the decrease in earnings may suggest CenterPoint Energy is not utilizing their capital as effectively as possible. CenterPoint Energy reached earnings of $856.00 million and sales of $2.31 billion in Q4.
