As soon as the Christmas period finishes up, Easter eggs begin appearing on our shelves despite still being a good few months away.
And while it can be funny seeing how quickly supermarkets move on to the next big thing, some might have noticed a slight change this year. That is because some Easter eggs are slightly smaller in size than they were in previous years.
For example, the iconic Dairy Milk eggs still cost £5, but have shrunk from 286g to 245g. This practice is sometimes called 'shrinkflation' and allows companies to reduce costs without hiking their prices.
