PART of a major road has been closed following a crash between a bus and a car in Midlothian.
Emergency services were called to the A702 near Silverburn, Penicuik, at around 4.45pm on Friday following a report of the collision.
The road has remained closed, and it is unclear if there have been any casualties.
Police have urged drivers to avoid the area if possible.
A statement from Police Scotland said: “The A702 is closed near Silverburn, Penicuik after a crash at 4.45pm on Friday, 28 March, 2025 involving a bus and a car.
“Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible.”
