A new, two-part true crime series on Channel 4, Married to a Psychopath, tells the horrifying story of Malcolm Webster, a British man convicted of killing his first wife in Scotland in 1994 and the attempted murder of his second in New Zealand in 1999.
Webster, who staged car crashes as part of a plot to pocket almost £1 million in insurance payouts, was previously portrayed on screen by League of Gentleman and Inside No 9 star Reece Shearsmith in the macabre ITV series The Widower (2014).
